Exterior Wall & Roof High-elastic Waterproofing JOSME has created a single-component acrylic polymer waterproofing compound, called waterproofing. It includes the acrylic polymer emulsion, functional additives and inorganic fillers. Breaking elongation ≥ 400 % Breaking strength > 1.5 MPa Leak prevention and repair services for balconies, flat roofs not exposed to the weather, bathrooms, kitchens and window sills It is solvent free, water based and ready to use from the bottle without any further mixing.
Building settlement and temperature distortion can readily degrade traditional robust waterproof coatings. High-Elastic Waterproofing produces a seamless flexible layer over the substrate, adjusting to micro-deformation and dynamic fissures, eliminating rupture and leakage caused by structural movement, freeze-thaw and long-term UV exposure.
Acrylic polymers give good adherence to concrete, masonry and existing coatings. It can be installed immediately on qualified substrates without full removal for remodelling projects, which simplifies construction.

Crack Bridging: elongation of 400% or greater; bridges micro-cracks/structural gaps without rupture.
Waterproof and vapor-permeable: Prevents blistering and peeling by releasing internal moisture while blocking precipitation.
Temperature & UV Resistance: UV resistant to reduce outdoor ageing; stable up to 80°C; flexible down to -20°C.
Eco-Friendly Water-Based: Safe for indoor damp spaces, low-VOC, and free of solvents.
Simple Construction: Ready for immediate use without the need for blending, direct brushing, or rolling.
Balconies and window sills — leakage repair
Non-exposed roofs — moisture protection
Bathrooms and kitchens — wet area waterproofing
Floor and slab joints — gap sealing
Aged facades and metal roofs — renovation overlay
High elasticity enables synchronous deformation with the substrate in large-span industrial roofs and buildings exposed to vibration.

Full process quality control Raw material inspection, in-process monitoring, end Exterior Wall & Roof High-elastic Waterproofing testing by JOSME. Samples saved in batches for uniformity of steady colour and repeat order.
Verification tests:
Adhesion (ASTM D4541): Bond stability under negative pressure
DFT Measurement : 1.2 – 1.5 mm as per project requirements
Accelerated Weathering: 1000-2000 hrs to verify retention of elasticity
Crack Bridging (EN 1062-7) Resilience to dynamic structural faults
Moisture in the substrate: only construction less than 8%

Q1: Is this product suitable for self-repair of leaking balconies?
A1: Yes. The product is ready-to-use without extra mixing. Clean surface dust and loose residues first, then apply evenly by brush or roller. It fits small-area balcony leakage repair without professional equipment.
Q2: Can construction be carried out in rainy or humid weather?
A2: Rainy days are not suitable for construction. No standing water is allowed on the substrate surface. Fully dry the damp base before construction to ensure complete curing and stable film formation.
Q3: Is partial touch-up repair available for local seepage points?
A3: Yes. Clean and trim the loose parts of the original coating at the seepage position, then apply the product directly for local repair. Overall removal of the old coating is not required for partial renovation.
Q4: What factors affect the service life of the waterproof layer?
A4: The service life is related to substrate treatment, dry film thickness, construction quality and local climate. Standard substrate pretreatment and thickness construction can stabilize the long-term waterproof effect.
