JOSME Multi-color Imitation Stone Coating uses silicone modified acrylic emulsion and colloidal particle encapsulation technology to achieve a simulation rate of over 95% to restore the textures of actual granite and marble walls. The product has VOC emission less than 50g/L and passed more than 2000 hours xenon lamp ageing test. The whole coating system may provide 15-20 years consistent service life, applicable to new construction and rehabilitation of external walls of residential, commercial and public buildings.

How It Works

Multi-color Imitation Stone Coating uses color-in-color suspension technology. Multiple independent colour particles are trapped in the aqueous protective phase to achieve a layered natural granite texture by one-time spraying without repeating coating building.

The product is synthesised with matching pigments, fillers and cross-linking additives, taking silicone modified acrylic emulsion as major binder. The cured paint film has natural stone wall visual performance of natural matt texture and complete stone grain look.

Key Performance Advantages

Self-cleaning Surface: Hydrophobic film resists Class 1 staining. Dust and dirt do not stick readily, rain water runs off the surface, decreasing the pressure of cleaning.

Crack Bridging & Flexibility: Film thickening over tiny cracks. Elastic grade with elongation > 100 %, suitable for EPS and XPS insulating substrates.

Low VOC Water Based Formula: VOC <50 g/L. The water-based technology permits building in semi-closed and inhabited restoration areas with minimum environmental effect.

Lightweight & Efficient Construction: Low structural load, standard usage 0.3 – 0.5 kg/m2. Single-pass spray formation reduces process and on-site cycle times.

Construction System and Application Requirements

For consistent results and long term performance refer whole system: Exterior Putty → Alkali-resistant Primer → Intermediate coat → Multi color Imitation Stone Coating → Silicone-acrylic Topcoat.

Keep the spray pressure of 0.4-0.6 MPa. Same-batch products on continuous walls to prevent colour discrepancies.

Stop work in rain, snow or wind. Substrate moisture content must be < 10% before priming. Alkali resistant sealing primer with high permeability is required to avoid efflorescence and peeling due to alkalinity of substrate.

Quality Control

All final goods will go through five standard inspections before delivery, including particle stability test, adhesion strength test, 96-hour water whitening resistance test, spectrophotometric batch colour calibration, and alkali resistance test.

The complete manufacturing process comprises inbound inspection of raw materials, real time monitoring of the process and sample test of completed products. Batch sample retention is performed to achieve product performance traceability and to guarantee consistent quality for repeat orders.
