JOSME’s High-Flexibility Waterproof Slurry is a two-component polymer-modified cement-based coating consisting of acrylic emulsion, specific cement, graded sand and active additives. Once the powder is mixed with a liquid, a chemical reaction takes place to generate a waterproof membrane that is both hard and flexible and elastic. Elongation at break >30%, tensile strength ≥1.5 MPa, bond strength ≥1.0 MPa. Bonds strongly to concrete and moist surfaces. Standard consumption: 1.8-2.0 kg/㎡ for 1.0mm dry film. For building waterproofing pretreatment and finishing activities of different types.
Traditional hard waterproof mortar is resistant to compression, but breaks during settlement and structural displacement. High-Flexibility Waterproof Slurry is the answer to this problem, which forms robust elastic films on surfaces.
The inorganic cement powder gives the structural strength and polymers give flexible deformation . The formula binds micro-cracks together from thermal expansion and small structural movement.
The stiff flexible balance is different from regular waterproof mortar, so that steady long-term performance on site is guaranteed.
3.4.2 Stable Concrete Adhesion: Bond strength ≥1.0MPa; membrane fits tightly to the substrate without delamination and peeling under the action of water pressure and temperature stress.
Direct Tiling After Curing Fully cures in 24-48 hours. No grinding or pre-treatment required prior to tiling, making construction faster.
Water-Based Formula for Environmental Protection: No dangerous compounds after curing, acceptable for use in occupied spaces including kitchens, toilets and aquatic farming ponds, meeting the requirements for indoor safety.

This waterproof slurry can be used for civil engineering, commercial and residential applications:
Residential Wet Areas - For Bathrooms & Kitchens with Dense Pipelines & varying temperatures. The membrane is elastic and allows micro-deformation at pipe roots and prevents seepage along the joints.
Terraces & Balconies For outdoor areas subject to temperature changes and UV.
The flexible cover conforms to the deformation of the substrate and is waterproof for outdoor use for a long time.
Underground premises: cellars, underground parking spaces. It is resistant to water pressure and fills micro fractures in settlement minimising failure concerns of stiff waterproof layers below.
Special water environments Swimming pools, fish ponds, sewage treatment tanks and garage flooring. Permanent waterproofing and a safe recipe for long-term submersion.

All production batches undergo strict inspection procedures before delivery to stabilize High-flexibility Waterproof Slurry performance:
Liquid-Powder Ratio Consistency Test — Verify polymer content and formula ratio of each batch to guarantee flexible performance consistency.
Low-Temperature Flexibility Test — Conduct mandrel bending test at -10°C on cured films to confirm no cracking or damage.
Hydrostatic Impermeability Test — Complete 0.3 MPa 30-minute water pressure test in line with GB/T 23445 standard.
Solid Content Detection - Keep solid content over 65% to maintain the longevity of cured films. The entire process consists of raw materials inspection, in-process monitoring and completed goods testing. Batch samples are kept for traceability.

Q1. How does the two-component product waterproofing work with rigid-flexible?
A1: Chemical curing takes place when powder and liquid are mixed. Cement powder offers structural strength, polymers add flexible toughness. The completed membrane prevents water ingress and permits slight structure deformations.
Q2: Can it be used on wet wall and floor substrates?
A2: Ja. First, drain standing water The hydraulic formula adheres firmly to wet substrates, eliminating the need to wait for complete drying—perfect for basements and other moist locations.
Q3: What is the difference between this product and traditional rigid waterproof mortar?
A3: Rigid mortar has no crack-bridging ability and cracks easily with structural movement. This flexible slurry can cover micro-cracks caused by temperature change and settlement, fitting structures with long-term slight displacement.
Q4: What causes coating peeling and bubbling during use?
A4: Excessive water dilution and unclean dusty substrates are the main causes. Standard construction requires clean and sound substrates, and the second coat shall be applied perpendicular to the first coat to ensure bonding effect.
Q5: Is a protective layer required for walking areas?
A5: For foot traffic areas like balconies, tile or mortar protective layers are recommended to avoid mechanical damage to the waterproof membrane and extend service life.
