JOSME Interior Fine-grade Water-resistant Putty is made of inorganic cementitious binders, natural mineral fillers and functional additives based on scientific formula. 26 years expertise of coating manufacturing, manufactured according to JG/T 298 industry standard. It has water immersion adhesion strength of over 0.50 MPa, whiteness index of over 85% and ultra-low VOC content. It is a robust wall leveling foundation material for high-humidity interior environment , where standard gypsum putty can not match the requirements of use.
Traditional interior putties based on gypsum are not suitable for long-term use in humid conditions, such as basements, bathrooms and other poorly ventilated spaces with fluctuating humidity, when powdering, blistering and delamination are likely to develop.
Interior Waterproof, Fine Grade After curing, putty creates dense molecular networks that are hydrophobic. It minimises penetration of external moisture, controls formation of mould and prevents migration of alkali from the substrate. These features guarantee a satisfactory adhesion of the topcoat for a whole wall coating structure even in locations where condensation occurs.

Underground Garages Regular putty doesn’t work well in a high humidity, poorly ventilated environment. Resistant to mould and moisture, it helps to keep the wall stable and clean for a long time.
Moisture resistant walls are essential for frequent washing and disinfection in hospitals and other healthcare organisations.
It is not easily broken down by moisture and the inorganic formula creates few toxic chemicals therefore it passes medical criteria.
Residential wet areas: steam and condensation are a problem in laundries, bathrooms and kitchens. It acts as a base coat to prevent blistering of paint, growth of mould and weakening of the wall.
Commercial and seaside buildings have high humidity and salt air, which speed up the ageing of walls. This putty provides a long term maintenance by strengthening the substrate structure and preventing the deterioration due to moisture.
General on Cement & Concrete Substrates Level cement mortar and concrete on interior walls give a level, high whiteness base for finish coatings.

To guaranty performance consistency for repeat and bulk orders, all batches are thoroughly tested before to delivery, including bond strength, fracture resistance, whiteness, scrub resistance, and batch consistency, using retained samples.

Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is perfectly clear of loose layers, oil stains and dust. Scrape existing paint films off walls to a matte finish prior to construction and apply an interface agent.
Mixing Mix the Interior Fine-grade Water-resistant Putty with clean water to get a homogeneous, lump-free paste. To avoid discolouration of the surface, water is preferred.
Application: Apply with a scraper or trowel and the thickness of the single application should be between 0.5 and 1.5 mm. Do not over-thicken single layers to prevent internal stress and mending fractures.
Sanding and Drying: Be certain the coating layers are totally dry. Complete sanding within 24 to 48 hours after construction, before carbonisation of the surface, for a polished outcome.
Primer Suggestion: For better paint coverage uniformity and to balance wall water absorption, use alkali-resistant primer before topcoating.

Q1: Why is this putty suitable for garages and hospital spaces?
A1: Underground garages have persistent high humidity and poor ventilation, while hospital walls need to withstand frequent chemical disinfection. This putty’s moisture resistance, mold-inhibiting properties and ultra-low VOC features match the usage requirements of these scenarios.
Q2: Can this putty prevent existing wall cracks from expanding?
A2: The Interior Fine-grade Water-resistant Putty has proper flexibility to buffer minor substrate deformation and inhibit micro crack expansion. It is only used for wall leveling, not as a structural crack repair material.
Q3: What benefits does this putty bring to full interior renovation?
A3: The ultra-low VOC formula improves indoor safety during and after construction. Its moisture and mold resistance reduces later wall maintenance frequency for humid indoor spaces.
Q4: Why is this putty harder to sand than ordinary putty?
A4: The dense polymer structure enhances surface durability. Sanding within 24–48 hours after construction can reduce construction difficulty and achieve ideal polishing results.
Q5: Can it be constructed on surfaces with old paint layers?
A5: It is usable only after the old paint is polished to matte finish and coated with interface agent. For humid areas, stripping to the original substrate is recommended for stable long-term bonding.
Q6: What is the standard single-coat thickness?
A6: The thickness of each construction layer should be controlled between 0.5mm and 1.5mm. Excessive single-layer thickness will cause internal stress and induce curing cracks.
