Crystal Stone Coating is a water-based architectural wall coating, using a nano organosilicon-modified self-crosslinking core-shell copolymer emulsion. When combined with natural or calcined coloured sand it provides the texture and depth of granite building facades without the structural weight of genuine stone. The product is targeted for new building and restoration projects where appearance, durability and simplicity of application are all important.
This is a high level finishing technique, using a water-based solution. The method of colloidal particle dispersion and the core-shell copolymer structure of the coating film are used. This makes the colour of the sand aggregate the colour of the finished surface. This technique mitigates the fading risk of conventional stone imitation paints, which have most of the colour on the surface pigment, not the aggregate.
It is a spray-applied, one-pass process that may be applied to flat walls, curving surfaces, ornamental columns, and exterior thermal-insulation substrates, regardless of geometry.
This technique prevents tiles from slipping off high rise facades owing to adhesive failure and adds very little weight to the wall structure compared to natural stone tile cladding.

Colour Stability Based on Aggregate
Colour originates from sand aggregate, not surface pigment, so it’s less prone to fading over years outside.
Flexible Film Fine Crack Bridging
The self-crosslinking core-shell structure bridges micro-cracks of up to 0.3 mm avoiding the admission of water and delamination due to building movement, especially in high-temperature-cycling conditions.
Weather & Waterproofing
Weather-resistant fillers can withstand UV, wind pressure and humidity, making them ideal for coastal and tropical areas.
Low Maintenance Surface
Low surface energy, so rain may wipe off light dirt. For persistent stains without repainting use just neutral detergent and low pressure water.
Light Facade Option
Minimal wall load vs stone tile No risk of falling tile on high-rise buildings
Water-Based, Low-VOC
The Crystal Stone Coating is water-based and low-VOC, which supports use in occupied buildings and projects operating under green building guidelines.
Single-pass spray implies you aren't limited by surface geometry during application. Typical projects include
Office buildings & commercial towers- granite like facade finish
Hotels & villas — ornamental texture with no stone cladding structural requirements
Government buildings, banks, hospitals Durable Low upkeep for heavy traffic usage
Good for salt spray & fungal conditions – coastal & high humidity settings
Urban rehabilitation & concrete retrofitting – performed on existing substrate without structural reinforcement.
ETICS – compatible with conventional insulating bases

Crystal Stone Coating quality is checked in 4 areas:
Raw Material Inspection Stone particle size distribution (PSD) and resin solid content checked by TGA before each run.
Wet State Monitoring Viscosity (KU), density and pH monitored batch to batch for uniformity.
Cured film tests: Bond strength (ASTM D4541), water absorption (ISO 15148) and dirt pickup resistance (DPUR) measured monthly.
Colour Management: Spectrophotometers track Delta E during manufacturing to reduce any obvious change on huge facades.
Batch sample retention means a traceable record of every run of colour, particle size and performance.

Q: What about the colour that makes it more stable than traditional stone-imitation paints?
A: Surface pigment does not give colour, the sand aggregate does. The aggregate also resists UV and weathering better so the finish stays constant over time.
Q: How does the film deal with substrate cracking?
A: The core-shell structure with self-crosslink provides flexibility and elasticity. It bridges micro-cracks to 0.3 mm (0.01 in.), limiting water penetration and delamination resulting from natural substrate movement.
Q: What is the anticipated life span?
A: The life span of a comprehensive system (primer + base coat + topcoat) is 15-25 years. Maintenance requires occasional washing with low pressure water.
A. Yes it may be put over existing ceramic tiles.
A: Yes, assuming tiles are solid, clean & level. For proper bonding a high adhesion interface primer is required.
Q: What is white patches or efflorescence?
A: Moisture in the substrate moving through the covering. Use an alkali resistant sealant and prior to application ensure substrate moisture content is below 10%.
