Water-Based PU Floor Paint is made using water as the dispersing medium and polyurethane resin as the principal raw material, which removes the undesirable chemical odour of solvent-based coatings. Tensile strength > 15 MPa Shore D hardness 60-80 VOC < 50 g/L It combines good resistance to mechanical wear with the demands of a safe construction environment. Suitable for food processing, storage, chemical industries and precision workshop.
Compared to Water-Based PU Floor Paint coatings, it has a moderate odour, minimal flammability risk and low VOC emission during service.
Formulated with aliphatic isocyanate cross linking agents for long term colour retention and sustained UV protection. Polyurethane is more flexible and less likely to break brittle than epoxy, which is good for transition regions subject to indoor/outdoor temperature changes.

Hardness & Flexibility Balance Impact & friction resistance. Shore D 60-80. Most single high hardness coating can not pass the hairline fractures of concrete without the film being broken.
UV Stability: The aliphatic polyurethane formulation is resistant to UV, temperature and humidity variations and does not yellow or powder like epoxy. The hue and film structure remain unchanged, whether used outdoors or in transition regions.
Chemical Resistant Industrial Grade: Compact film resistant to organic acids, fuels, alcohols and hydraulic fluids. Food plants and industrial storage for chemical workshops.
Low VOC: < 50g/L Suitable for setting up food and pharmaceutical workshop For use with local industry compliance.
For industrial and commercial use with rigorous cleaning requirements, environmental and wear resistance:
Food & Drink Low smell solution for processing enterprises, breweries, cold storage and canteens. It is able to be recoated without a whole shutdown.
Industrial & Chemical: Resistant to forklift abrasion and chemical corrosion for long service life.
Warehouse & Storage Low loss from abrasion when piled with Water-Based PU Floor Paint, and pushed by trucks.
Precision Electronics: Conductive fillers used in ESD anti-static flooring protect components from static damage.

Used with JOSME water-based epoxy primer and intermediate coat to create a whole composite floor system, it combines the bonding properties of epoxy with the weather resilience of polyurethane.
Step 1 – Substrate Prep: Concrete is polished or blasted to a CSP 2-3 roughness and loose layers are removed to ensure a solid bond.
Step 2 — Water Based Epoxy Primer Seals Pores and Dust. Penetrates Substrate to Enhance Bonding of Subsequent Coats.
Step 3 — Intermediate Coat of Water-Based Epoxy: Increase floor thickness and increase structural bearing and compression resistance.
Step 4 – Water Based PU Topcoat Final layer for consistent colour and shine. Excellent resistance to weather and chemicals.
Standardised examination of all batches:
Adhesion Test: ASTM D4541, binding strength above 1.5MPa
Abrasion Resistance: Taber abrasion ASTM D4060
Chemical Resistance: Spot test ASTM D1308
cure Monitoring: Measure surface drying and complete cure time in varied humidity conditions
Batch Consistency: Hold samples for verification of colour, particle size and film homogeneity

Q1: Does it build in heavy humidity?
A1: Maintain RH <85%. Excessive humidity promotes bleaching and inadequate cure.
Q2: Why does it become cloudy?
A2: Surface wetness and inadequate ventilation, particularly when thick layers are used. Standard thickness with ventilation.
Q3: Is mechanical pre-treatment required?
A3: Yes. Concrete has to be diamond ground or shot blasted to CSP 2-3.
Q4. Normal maintenance cycle?
A4: Light recoating every 5-7 years under typical traffic conditions.
Q5: How durable is water based PU compared to solvent based PU?
A5: water based vs solvent based abrasion resistance, greater colour stability and reduced VOC.
